Time to think about your presentations August 11, 2008
Just sent out this email to everyone that’s registered so far.
One of the best things about DE is that it’s small enough that everyone participates. In the past, we’ve asked everyone to give a short presentation. This year, we’re going to relax that rule just a bit to make little more time for conversations. Here’s the deal: we’re asking all our first-time participants to plan to definitely give talks. Everyone else, if you’d like to give a 20-minute talk during Day 1 or 2, let us know and we’ll make it work.
Talks can cover anything you like. We encourage you to use this as a chance to show prototypes or rough drafts, or work in progress. If you’re looking for ideas, use this as an opportunity for reflecting on your practice: what do you know in 2008 that you didn’t know five years ago? How are you using design practices in other roles, like managing employees or running a business?
Presentation topics are due by September 7 using the Contact link above. Thanks!
